Roll Call

It has been a few weeks since a new post has been written here at the Intrepid Classroom. I thought that the summer would afford us all more time to work on some projects, but I think we all underestimated the power of summertime procrastination. Realistically, I think we are all realizing that it is more important to simply relax and recharge our energy during the summer months.
I wanted to take this time now to state that I have not forgotten about this project and I hope that you have not either. Please enjoy the rest of your summer, and let’s see if we can’t get back on track when school starts up again in August.
We seemed to be building up some momentum before the summer started, so I am curious how many members and readers are still checking in. Please leave a comment and let us know what you have been doing this summer. We can consider the comments as a sort of roll call.
In closing, I have been reading some amazing books that I want to share with you all and I look forward to reconnecting with you all.

I have been knitting and baking. And now I am off to the Poconos.
I have spent an entire thrity days visiting realtives, and visiting my moms and dads past. Visiting my dads favorite ledge that you jump off of into the water of the lake. Tubing down the lriver just like my mom and dad did years ago. Also visiting there old house when they were newly weds, now this all may sound boring to the people who are reading this but just seeing the twinkle in my dads eyes everytime he saw an old memorie come to him, made it all worthwhile.
I have been in with family and I just got back. The flight has made me so tired I can’t see the screen so that’s all I have to say
i dont know but i feel like nothing is being done here we are getting nowhere so…
Still checking in! I’ve just spent the summer writing my schizophrenia novel, visiting friends and old haunts in the USA, turning nocturnal, started Libri-Rencenseo, reading one too many books (is there even such a number?), working my way through math/biology textbooks, watching season two of New Tricks way too many times, added almost 500 songs to my iTunes playlist, etc. But I’m looking forward to Intrepid Classroom restarting!
Good to see the regulars are still here. I am currently relaxing on a beach in Thailand, but I can feel the summer winding down and my re-charged batteries are ready to go.
I look forward to picking up where we left off. Ilena, it seems like you are becoming frustrated, but remember this project is only as succesful as its participants, so take charge and make “something” happen. We still have several items of business left over from last year, so get involved in those, or raise some issues you would like to see covered yourself.
I have several topics I would like to raise and will do so, as soon as I wipe away the sand and get back home. Thanks for staying tuned, see you all soon.
